Assessment of Learning Levels

The learning levels of newly admitted students are assessed based on SSC grade, Intermediate score, EAMCET and ECET ranking.

The institution actively organizes Induction Program for three weeks as per the norms of AICTE for newly admitted students. The induction program covers various activity modules on Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, General Ability, Quantitative Ability, and General Knowledge, enabling students to identify their interests, explore their potential, and perform effectively in their chosen branch of Engineering.

Methods to Assess the Learning Levels of Students

Faculty members are assigned as mentors, with each mentor guiding a maximum of 20 students. The institute regularly assesses the learning levels of students based on:

  • Active participation in classroom activities
  • Continuous Internal Evaluation (CIE)
  • Semester End Examination (SEE)
  • Co-curricular and Extra-curricular activities
  • Projects and Training Programs
  • Participation in Intra and Inter-College Competitions

Measures Taken to Support Slow Learners

  • Monthly attendance reports are monitored by class teachers and mentors.
  • Mentors counsel students with poor attendance and low academic performance.
  • Parents are informed about the student’s academic progress.
  • Tutorial and remedial classes are conducted regularly.
  • Additional course materials and question banks are provided.
  • Online video lecture links are shared for self-learning.
  • Advanced learners are grouped with slow learners for project work.
  • Workshops, Guest Lectures, Webinars, and Seminars are organized through CSI, IEI, ISTE, and IEEE.
  • Group discussions are conducted by pairing slow learners with advanced learners.

Measures Taken to Support Advanced Learners

  • Class toppers receive Gold Medals, Certificates, and Cash Awards every year.
  • Students are encouraged to complete certification courses through Spoken Tutorial, NPTEL, CISCO Academy, ORACLE Academy, IEEE Skill Connect, CODE TANTRA, and COURSERA.
  • Project Expo, Internal Smart India Hackathon, Boot Camp, and Ideathon are organized with financial support.
  • The Training & Placement Cell conducts Campus Recruitment Training (CRT) and Pre-Placement Training.
  • Students are encouraged to participate in conferences, paper presentations, technical quizzes, and inter-college competitions.
  • Hands-on workshops are organized on emerging technologies.
  • Students are motivated to undertake micro-projects to develop research orientation.
