Meet our Head of Department
Dr. Thanam Pullaiah
obtained his PhD in the Faculty of Electronics and Communication Engineering
Dr. Thanam Pullaiah is a senior academician with over 25 years of teaching experience and 2 years of industry experience in Electronics and Communication Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from JNTUH, an M.Tech in Digital Systems and Computer Electronics, and a B.E. in ECE. His expertise includes Data Compression, Digital Systems, Optical Communication, and Embedded Systems. He has published 17 international research papers, holds two international patents, and has guided over 100 undergraduate and 40 postgraduate projects. He has organized several FDPs, workshops, and DST-sponsored programs, played a key role in establishing industry collaborations, and is an active member of IEEE and a Life Member of IAENG.

Engineering Knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems

Problem Analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences and Engineering sciences.

Design/Development of Solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
